Yeast Infection No More:Fascinating information out there about this condition ... and much is not very reliable. Suffice it to say, some changes to prevent diet, yeast infections. But it is perhaps not as radical as they were led to believe. Here's why:

Yeasts are everywhere. They live in the soil. You are on the skin of fruits and berries. And they live in the body. Some yeasts are good and some not.

The yeast is most often infections with Candida albicans bodies (also known as Candida). Although a normal inhabitant of the body, Candida is considered an "opportunistic pathogen" that there is only harmful when it is allowed to grow, from tax revenues.

The most common cause of yeast infections? The use of antibiotics, experts say. Antibiotics kill good bacteria (protect the body against yeast overgrowth), and bad bacteria. Other conditions that can promote the abnormal growth of yeast in the body, pregnancy, hormone replacement therapy, diabetes and HIV infection.

Yeasts in food, but are completely different types of the fungus Candida albicans. Food yeasts are "friendly" fungi like mushrooms, and "other institutions", we add to foods for one reason or another. Saccharomyces cerevisiae (S. cerevisiae for short) is a common yeast that was used to make bread for thousands of years. Other strains of Saccharomyces are used to ferment grape juice into wine. Kombucha is a fermented tea is sweetened with nutritional yeast. Yeasts are also used to convert corn into ethanol. But I digress.

Although the Internet is full of dietary advice on how yeast infections (one side says we all need, but to eliminate garlic spices, herbs and vegetables), here are some reliable ways to prevent:

Increase your intake of Lactobacillus acidophilus (L. acidophilus). To keep these good bacteria in the intestinal Candida yeast to grow out of control. Sorry, but you have to look at food labels to foods such as acidophilus milk, kefir, yogurt or lactobacillus to find ingredient.

Keep your immune system. Protein foods strengthen the immune system to prevent the growth of yeast cells can be stubborn. Add at least one of them at every meal: fish, poultry, meat, eggs, low fat cheese, yogurt, milk, beans, nuts or nut butter.

Make half your plate vegetables. (Have we heard that before?) Cooked or raw, these foods feed the beneficial bacteria in the gut that keep the bad candida under control.

Add some raw garlic to your diet. Garlic has anti-fungal properties and anti-bacterial testing. Smash It Up and paste dressings and other fresh foods.

Consider a probiotic supplement containing Lactobacillus - bills presented to control the growth of Candida. A trusted brand is Culturelle, Lactobacillus GG.

Trim the excess sugar from your diet. Eat all the fruits and avoid excessive amounts of juice and other sweetened drinks. This is a good recommendation for all of us.

Ideas for breakfast? Try plain yogurt or low-sugar with Lactobacillus "live" active cultures made. Sprinkle with a little raw garlic ... this is a joke.

Conclusion: Avoid excessive use of antibiotics. Soak up the gut with good bacteria as active foods containing live Lactobacillus. Eat protein at every meal. Use your vegetables.
